The InnovatED Symposium is your opportunity to discover the newest advances in ideas, technology and teaching methodologies in health professions education. Join fellow educators from across campus to share novel and innovative teaching approaches, exchange practical strategies to implement right away, and foster new collaborations with peers.

• Place: Truhlsen Event Center, Omaha Campus

Call for Proposals

We invite experts and practitioners in the field of health professions education to submit proposals for interactive and multi-faceted presentations that can be easily adapted and implemented by attendees. The deadline for submissions is June 14, 2024.

Presentation Details

• Presentations will be either 50 minutes or a 15-minute lightning talk.
• Sessions must be interactive and structured as a lecture, panel or workshop.
• Potential topics include quality improvement strategies, technology in education and innovative teaching methods.
• In-person attendance is required for all presenters.

Proposal Guidelines

• UNMC faculty, staff and students, and Academy Associate and Affiliate Members are eligible to submit a proposal. 
• Proposals must include presenter information, presentation title and an abstract of no more than 300 words.
• All proposals must be submitted by June 14, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
• Presenters will be notified of the status of their proposal by mid-July.
